Favorite spelt pizza dough

This Pizza dough is a recipe we found over at this website >here<
we have been looking for a good spelt or kamut recipe for making pizza and this one seems to be it!

super easy to make. a couple minutes to toss all the ingredients into the bread machine and in another two hours and you have fresh pizza from the oven, how easy is that.

put the ingredients into the bread machine in this order:
1cup warm (not hot) water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
1.5 tsp sea salt
3 cups spelt
2.5 tsp dry active yeast

set your bread machine to the dough cycle.
after the kneading is done check to make sure you don't need to add more water or flour.

set your oven to 450 degrees.
Add your toppings to the pizza, we made 4 individual pizzas.

depending on your toppings the pizza should be in the oven for 15-16 mins.

and then ENJOY!!

pretty things to organize

I came across this website today and I have to say that I love all of their stuff.
not only do they have pretty labels for all your kitchen items, they also have saying and labels for almost every room in your house and every season or holiday.
here are a couple of their decals for a kitchen aid mixer.

I am totally loving the decal about baking... how cute would one of those look on my kitchen aid mixer!
Here are some more for labeling your baking supplies, I am loving these too!

This family rules is one that will go on my list to buy (one day) how cute is it!
I could go on and on about all the items that I am loving from their site, so here is the link and go check them out.

crock pot recipe

I LOVE my crock pot! making dinner has got to be one of my favorite things to do... but after a long day when the kids are all cranky (okay, I am too) I hate it!
So I try to make as many dinners in my crock pot as I can.
After finding this recipe on pintrest, I have made some slight changes and this is now a family favorite.

2 large (or 4 small) boneless skinless chicken breasts
14 oz can of diced tomatoes
15 oz can of black beans
1 cup frozen corn
2 cups chicken stock (or water and a bullion cube)
1tsp onion powder
1tsp garlic powder
1 cup salsa

combine tomatoes, black beans, corn, chicken stock, onion powder, garlic powder and salsa stir.
add chicken on top of the mixture.
half an hour before serving take chicken out and shred, add back to crock pot.

cook on low for 8-10 hours, or high for 4-6 hours

serve over rice.
*my family loves to add some sour cream, cheese and salsa on top
